I'm not interested in football http://iwank.in.net/ iwan.com  Comets were initially thought to be manifestations of the atmosphere. But in 1577, Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe (1546-1601) and others took precise measurements of the motion of the Great Comet of 1577 from widely separated locations and determined that the comet did not show any parallax (difference in position as seen from multiple locations). These observations indicated that the comet was well outside of the Earth’s atmosphere. But if these celestial objects were out roaming amongst the planets of our solar system, where did they come from?
