Those demanding laws preventing the legal recognition of gay civil unions don't give a rat's ass about what is or isn't right under our constitution. They want to enforce their interpretation of morality without regard to any legal argument. Ultimately, when faced with the iron clad legal reality, they simply state that man's law is not "God's" law, as if they have some special quarter on what the heck that really is. When one thinks about it, it's OK to have things end up this way. While the rest of us live under laws not based on ANYONES interpretation of God, the sex police crowd can stay at home and jerk off to their God's law all they want. |
