Whatever, this situation is only happening because the plumbing to the shower is all wrong. You are not supposed to have the hot and cold supplies arriving at different pressures – not just because of the overflow problem you have described, but for safety reasons, too. If the cold mains pressure failed or got turned off while someone was taking a shower, then the hot would continue to flow and they could get scalded. The hot and cold feeds should either both be at mains pressure or both at indirect ("tank") pressure. |
