I was also fascinated by how clean and tidy the city was, the modern architecture and the phenomenal food scene. Most European cuisine is based on traditional French cooking, which can be quite heavy, but in Cape Town the food is much lighter. I’ve been returning regularly since for work and holidays. February is the best time to go because it’s hot, but not too hot, and most of the tourists are gone. |
