Like most parents of very small children I’m slightly obsessed with how much they sleep. Bedtime is by far the most structured time of the day, there are clean sheets and cosy pyjamas, and an untouched plate at suppertime is a cause of mild panic. If they’re hungry in the night, they’ll wake up. If they wake up, I’ll wake up. I don’t want to wake up. |
