But wandering around its artfully planted display gardens overlooking the sea, with their agaves and towering blue echiums, it was good also to see the appreciation of trees such as Queensland brush box and Moreton Bay fig, and to meet wild bluebell vine (sollya) scrambling through the dry scrub behind. |
