Kevin Spacey is another great mimic, and very occasionally he will show a talk-show host how it’s done, but not often. Steve Coogan, remarkably generous with the media for a man who has every reason to believe that they are out to get him, has been known to give a giftless talk-show host instructions on how to control the throat muscles and thus sound a bit more like Terry Wogan; but I suppose that any of us who need teaching are never going to get the secret. |
